Warranty and cancellation policies. Look for a complete money-back warranty, or at least a trial period, in case you are not satisfied with the service. And you’ll want the capability to cancel at any time without any charges (and a full refund if regular monthly charges have currently been paid).
Discount rates. Ask about discounts for numerous individuals in the same household, along with for veterans, subscription companies, medical insurance or via a healthcare facility, medical or care company. Ask if the company provides any discount rates choices or a sliding cost scale for people with lower incomes.
For the many part, Medicare and private insurance businesses will not cover the costs of a medical alert. You can check with your personal insurance company to see if it offers discount rates or recommendations.
Tax reductions. Contact your tax professional to find out if the expense of a medical alert is tax deductible as a medically necessary expense.
